The 2023 Whiteshell Outing is coming up June 16-18.  This is a fun outing that includes a half-day of clean-up and camaraderie along the Whiteshell River and lots of excellent fishing the rest of the time.  We are attempting to coordinate novice members with more experienced members of the MFFA but this will require advanced planning. The Whiteshell River is a great place to learn some principles of river fly fishing.  There are also many float tubing and small watercraft opportunities available in the Whiteshell, including Lyons Lake for rainbows and browns, Hunt Lake for brookies and browns, and McHugh Lake for browns. You're responsible for your own accommodations but there are plenty of camping sites still available at West Hawk Lake campground online.  Deadline for registration is June 10th.
