Conversion and Minimum Size Table

Not all fish species grow to the same size.  To recognize this, all entries are scaled by a conversion factor.  For example, these conversion factors put a trophy size 14 inch perch (1400 points) in proper perspective when compared to a relatively common 20 inch pike (580 points).  The above conversion factors will be applied to all fish entered for the Fly Fisher and Kingfisher awards.  The length of each fish will be multiplied by its specific species conversion factor to determine its score.

Please consider submitting photos of yoru fish for inclusion in upcoming newsletters.  Good luck!
